Tribute to the Frontline

A bright blue sky was the background for the roar of jets as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds thrilled the community on May 2. The two conducted a flyover that started at WellStar Kennestone Hospital and included other Atlanta area hospitals. The collaboration, called America Strong, was a thank you to healthcare workers, first responders, military, and other essential workers on the frontlines during the coronavirus pandemic.

Meg Robinson captured these pictures near WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
